Ricardo Morais is Brazilian, married, has a one-year-old baby and has been living in Peru for 20 years. He has a Master's Degree in Management of Educational Centers from the University of Deusto, Bilbao-Spain and a degree in Education with a specialty in History and Social Sciences from the University of Piura, in Peru. He is a “Master Trainer” from the International School Leadership of Ontario, Canada and has more than 20 years of experience as a teacher in K-12 education and at the university, as well as in the academic and administrative management of educational centers. He currently serves as Director of the Department of Humanities of the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, Lima, Perú) and is a PhD candidate in Humanities with a mention in Culture Studies from the University of Piura. His research interests are in the field of education and in the promotion of research in the humanities with the more than three hundred professors who belong to the department he directs.
