Todd Matthews, PhD, is an associate professor and Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Organization Development at Cabrini University. He also served as founding chair of the Department of Leadership and Organizational Development at Cabrini from 2015-2019.
Matthews is a broadly trained scholar who teaches and conducts research on organizational development, leadership, trust, civic involvement, research methodology, environmental inequalities, poverty and health, and religion (among other topics).
His research has appeared in numerous book chapters, as well as the journals Social Forces, Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion, Review of Religious Research, Religions, Sociological Inquiry, Sociological Spectrum, and many others.
Matthews earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Salisbury University, a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Tennessee, and a doctorate in sociology from Mississippi State University.
