Blaž Bajič is Assistant Professor at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, University of Ljubljana. Since completing his PhD in 2017, he has participated as a project researcher at the University of Oslo in the ERC-funded TRACES - Transmitting Contentious Cultural Heritages with the Arts (2016-2019) and completed his postdoctoral training at the University of Eastern Finland in the ERC-funded project SENSOTRA - Sensory Transformations and Transgenerational Environmental Relationships in Europe 1950-2020 (2017-2021). His main research topics include sensory practices, environment, leisure, and popular culture, and methodological and epistemological aspects of cultural anthropology. He recently co-edited two volumes, Senses of Cities: Anthropology, Art, Sensory Transformations (Muršič, Bajič, and Abram forthcoming) and Views of the Three Valleys (Bajič, Svetel, and Zavratnik 2021). He publishes his work in national and international journals and publishers (Znanstvena založba FF, Routledge, Bloomsbury). He is also the current president of the Slovenian Ethnological and Anthropological Association KULA.
