Franz Kolland
Associate Professor Dr. Franz Kolland is the head of the working group on "Ageing, Life-Course and Generation" in the Department of Sociology at the University of Vienna. He was the scientific director of the Ludwig Boltzmann-Institute of Social Gerontology and Life Course Research in Vienna (1981-2005). Since 2004 he has been a member of the Task Force Monitoring the Regional Implementation Strategy of the UN-International Plan of Action on Aging. Since 2007 he has been a member of the board of Ageing medicine at the Ministry of Health Affairs.
