Andrea Brace

Andrea M. Brace, PhD, CHES®, is an Associate Professor of Public Health, serving as the new Director and Chair of the master’s in public health program at Fairleigh Dickenson University. Brace earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Delaware; BS in Biological Sciences and MS in Health Promotion from Mississippi State University; and a PhD in Health Promotion and Behavior from The University of Georgia. Andrea was an ORISE post-doctoral Evaluation Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity. Andrea has expertise in teaching Environmental Health, Program Evaluation, Research Methods, Urban Food Systems, and Health Communication. Andrea’s research focuses on food access and food equity, college student health, as well as place and health using GIS.
