Jacek Pyżalski

Professor Jacek Pyżalski, Ph. D. in Education, professor at the Faculty of Educational Studies, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland.

He has been working in the field of social and psychological aspects of human functioning for almost 15 years focusing mostly on those issues in children and adolescents as well as education professionals (issues of stress and workplace health in Polish teachers). He has been working for over 15 years in Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine in the leading Polish Scientific Centre of workplace health promotion. He conducted numerous significant national and international projects such as European Cyberbullying Intervention Project, COST Action IS0801 (on cyberbullying), Skills (Horizon), CO:RE (Horizon). He is also a Polish representative and principal researcher in EU Kids Online Network. During emergency remote education he prepared a concept and issued the first Polish handbook for teachers supporting them in provision of high quality education during this time and support students’ mental health also conducted numerous international research projects during this crisis period. Polish representative in 3 other COST Actions on mental health (appearance problems, problematic internet use, bullying).
