Conference Option 2: Dunlin Village University Residence

As a courtesy to our delegates, we are pleased to offer a University Residence room rate at Dunlin Village to assist with travel planning. As it´s peak tourist season in Galway in July, we beg you to book the accommodation in advance to ensure the availability of the rooms and the best price.

This Accomodation is 15 minutes on foot from the Venue.

From the University Residence: "Located just minutes from Galway city centre, and within proximity of the stunning landscapes of Connemara, Dunlin Village is an ideal base for delegates attending conferences and events at University of Galway, while still having the opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of Galway and explore the wonders of the Wild Atlantic Way!

Dunlin Village is a new residence which opened in September 2023. The residence is located on the parkland campus of University of Galway and is approximately a 10-minute drive or 30-minute walk to the city centre. It is a bright, modern, energy-efficient residence with 674 bedrooms in 125 spacious, self-catering apartments.

Guests staying on campus can enjoy Free Wi-Fi, complimentary parking, an on-site shop/convenience store and self-service launderette.

Apartments contain 4 or 6 individual bedrooms along with a spacious shared kitchen and living area. Each bedroom comes with an en suite bathroom, ample storage, and a work desk. Each bedroom has one double bed only. There is the option to reserve individual bedrooms or full apartments.

Where individual bedrooms are reserved, guests will be accommodated in a shared apartment with other conference delegates. Alternatively, a private four-bedroom or six-bedroom apartment can be reserved.

On-campus accommodation is available on a first-come basis and is subject to availability at the time of booking.

Accommodation bookings are only valid for qualifying conferences and events on campus and any bookings made that are not part of a concurrent event may not be accepted.
