José Gutiérrez-Pérez

José Gutiérrez-Pérez is full Professor in Educational Research Methodology at the Faculty of Science Education, Universidad de Granada (Spain), where he teaches program evaluation and research methodologies in environmental education. He is head of the Area of University Evaluation and Institutional Acreditation of the Andaluzian Knowledge Agency. Director of PGC of Training Secondary Teachers & Environmental Education Master Degree. Head of the Environmental Education Research Group, awarded by the second prize of national educational research in 2004 by the Science & Education Spanish Ministry.

His research focuses upon the quality criteria evaluation of environmental education centers, educational programs and climate literacy. He is Main Research of the RESCLIMA Research Project (http://www.resclima.info/). He played a key role in the development of the Spanish National Strategy for Environmental Education. He has published a number of books and is a member of the editorial board of several international environmental education journals.

Author of 152 articles indexed in international journals and professional journals of the field of educational research, and more than 100 contributions in International Congress.
