Natalie Robertson is the Research Coordinator for NEXTCalgary and is currently working on her Doctorate at the University of Calgary. Her research centres on material, social, and legal intersections between urban form and climate change. She holds a Masters of Environmental Design specializing in Urban Resilience with an undergraduate degree in Urban Anthropology. As an advisory member of the City of Calgary Climate Adaptation Working Group and an ad hoc member of the City's Climate Panel, she collaborates with local municipal government and industry on climate change policy relating to land use legislation, funding, and programs. She is a member of the Canadian Urban Institute (CUI) and has been a guest critic and guest lecturer at the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, and presents her research regularly to the public, groups and organizations, and at academic conferences.
