Program

We're happy to share the schedule of sessions for the International Conference on Technology, Knowledge and Society. We update the schedule on a weekly basis, so please make sure to check back regularly, as the schedule is subject to change. If you've recently registered but are not yet scheduled, your presentation should appear here within the next week. Because this is a draft schedule, you may be the only paper currently in your session; don't be concerned—we'll include more papers as we update the schedule.

If you have any issues locating your presentation in the event schedule, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Special Focus & Annual Themes

The Technology, Knowledge, and Society Research Network is brought together by a shared interest in the complex and subtle relationships between technology, knowledge and society. We seek to build an epistemic community where we can make linkages across disciplinary, geographic, and cultural boundaries. As a Research Network we are defined by our scope and concerns and motivated to build strategies for action framed by our shared themes and tensions.

The Twenty-Second International Conference on Technology, Knowledge, and Society features research addressing the following annual themes.

  • 2026 Special Focus—Human-Centered AI Transformations
  • Theme 1: Histories of Technology
  • Theme 2: Knowledge Makers
  • Theme 3: Social Realities
