Raquel Cascales

Raquel Cascales holds a PhD in Philosophy of Art (2016). She teaches Ethics of Design and Theory of Art at the University of Navarra. She has been a Visiting Scholar at The Warburg Institute (London, 2018) and at Columbia University (New York, 2022). Among her academic work, it is worth mentioning her books Arthur Danto and the End of Art (2019) and Cuidado con la estética. Reflexiones entre arte y vida (2024). She is a member of the board of the Spanish Society of Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts, and a member of the New Longevities Chair at the University of Navarra. Her current research focuses on Everyday Aesthetics and the Aesthetics of Care.
